Weston
This kid is growing right up. One minute he's just the absolute funnest kid and the next he's driving me crazy! I guess that's the terrible twos. His language is FINALLY coming along! Everyday he's picking up a new word or two. Just the other day we were in Walmart picking out some pajamas and he walked right up to a pair and said, unprompted, 'Elmo.' I had no idea he even knew who Elmo was!
He's still in love obsessed with balls! I was cleaning up the backyard the other day and I counted 15 balls out there, 15!
Even the rain won't keep him from playing ball!

He's always been good at kicking but he's getting quite the arm! We were cleaning up Legos that he had thrown all over the living room, when he pointed to the light in the dining room. I couldn't figure out why, till I saw this...
I still can't believe he got it all the way up there. On the same note, our biggest battle with him is throwing food. It's almost like he can't stand not to.We've praised him when he didn't, punished him when he did, bribed him before he did anything and nothing works, we can't get him to stop throwing food.
West also love the water, which is good because it's almost summer and we're in Dallas ;)
He's such a good big brother (most of the time)!
Landon
I seriously love this kid! We nicknamed him crabby because this kid had a temper! But all the sudden, at about two months, he became the sweetest, most laid back baby, ever!
This is seriously how he wakes up every morning! |
He LOVES people and attention! I don't ever hold him at church because someone always comes and take him. All you have to do is talk to him and he's all smiles. We were at the doctor's office the other day and I was trying to talk to the doctor while holding Landon, but the doctor just kept looking and talking to Landon because he was just so happy and responsive. The doctor said he doesn't often see four month old's that are this friendly.
He's a tall skinny guy. 85th percentile for height and 2nd for weight. We've been working on the weight and he's gaining, so hopefully the weight will be up a few percentiles by next well check.
He's also a big fan of the water. I guess I know what we'll be doing a lot of this summer!
He also loves his big brother and is starting to laugh at all the naughty things he does!
He's found his feet and he loves them. We often hear him grunting in his carseat because he's trying to reach down to grab his feet.
